What kind of software you use, trying to figure out if I can strart right away without long software practice. I tried to joint Liberty tax and their software is the worst. I used onlie Taxwise software , was pretty customer friendly but the one used in Liberty office is made me stay 2 hours just to get rid off those error.  Is it as friendly as turbo, taxact, h and r block or other online software?

Let me know when can I start, I can give you my Saturday 6 hours and Sunday 6 hours time just to file Nepali's tax until April 17 as volunteer hours.

I filed my taxes using Taxact online. Federal free and state is 14.95 per state. If you have used turbo tax, it is very similar n easy if your case is not complicated.

Those software are quite nice IF you preparing a simple tax return. But, if you qualify for complex ones, then you are very likely to miss out on the refund dollars.

We do not even have to dig too deep. Let us talk about the first part, the part that is before Income.... filing status/exemption/etc.... It is a bit convoluted(a tad bit), but you could devise numerous money saving strategies using those simple items!!

I would like to take a different approach at the famous phrase "with taxes, it is not what you know, it is what you do not know." You might do everything right but because of the fact that you do not know much about the rule, you might lose out on getting those precious dollars that you worked so hard for. The classic approach towards the argument would be "you will get audited because you filed it wrong and then you will have to pay interest and penalty."
