thats very funny, How can he contribute to nepali music when he cannot even pronounce proper nepali alphabets (junior kiran gurung in the making). One of the weiredest things i have ever heard. LOL what will happen to nepali music when all of the nepales youths are shaking their heads vigorously with guitars in their hands and singing some english songs thats even not of thier own.

At least if they can stay away from weeds and drugs would be a great contribution to the youths of nepal.

Steelheart - She's Gone .. energetic song, Steve Vai one of the greatest guitarist and musician .. Pride and Joy, Hoochie Coochie man very nicely covered.. He has lots of talent ... i_nepali thanks for sharing.. I personally don't think its about genre.. whether its metal. rock, blues, trance, jazz or hip hop.. on top of all it should be  music with sense.. There are lots of Nepali musicians that I listen to and appreciate... it ranges from Fatteman, Narayan Gopal, Prem Dhoj, Kumar Basnet, Arun Thapa to Mukti and Revival and lots of new comers.. lately Atomic Bush..

But the song by GP posted on the top .. for me is nonsense.. SORRY..

i_Nepali..

You have been a gr8 listener of everything i have posted before, and i know you always reveal the true opinion,
and i always appreciate that.

But I personally think, that only guitar pop songs and drums or rocks will not contribute our Nepali music to the next level.
I am more into piano and orchestral type of music. I like Piano more than Guitar (again its me)  yeah the recent posts are just fine however they were not done for Nepali music,
He has a talent but of he could sing a nice nepali song, it would be gr8.
Again, I never liked hip hop song before...
but I am used to with it now, and I try to find what have they done... what is the hard work on that....
well... no complain....
But I am not much into Rock and heavy metal.. I would rather listen Gazal, Lok geet, R n B, Hip Hop, Narayan gopal, Pop....
But Not rock or metal but again I would love them to see live ...but to me they are not soothing.... Rap hip hops are not soothing either but they are controversial and it is interesting to listen them

Again No offense!!! and thank you for sharing the video with us... both Geda Gudi and i_Nepali

I am old school when it comes to music, grew up listening to rock so I'm very biased to it. When I met Girish, it changed little. It's not that I started liking his brand of music.

Before meeting him I had just seen his videos, and I disapproved it without even giving it a chance. But After knowing the guy, my perception on his music changed a little too. He is a modest everyday Joe when among his friends, but I was surprised with his charisma, star power, and stage presence once in the stage. First time I heard him sing on stage live was Dashain Party in St. Louis, I have to confess he is the real deal.

My little argument with his brand of music was on adding more substance to his lyrics. I used to joke with him to use his star power for political change in Nepal.

G bro, if you were reading this you must have some idea who I am :)
