I heard Eagle Theater (in Jackson Height, NY where Kagbeni is being shown this Sunday) is infested with bedbugs and lice (udush ra uppiyaa). Is it true?
I want to watch Kagbeni. The review in Nepali Times was quite positive. And the promo trailer was impressive too.
But,
I am not sure if I want to risk bringing bedbugs and lice back home with me. It is kinda disgusting to think about being bitten by these parasites while watching the movie. But even worse, it would be terrible to bring some home and have a colony of udush uppiyaa build up in one's house. And you know how hard it is to get rid of 'em once they invade your home.
If anybody here knows more about Eagle Theater in Jackson Height, NY, please post.
Thank you.

Riten, That's true, I heard the same about the Eagle Theater. I am also planning to watch the movie, but lil bit hesitate for the said reason. I have an idea re kya, when you get home from the theater, do not put your clothes on the closet until you make sure you didn't bring any gift. Hope that works

When I went there the first time (last year) to watch some Nepali movie, I saw some women covering their seats with plastic sheets before sitting down. Then I asked why. Apparently, the bugs can't make it through plastic. Goood to know! Until then, had no idea about the udush and upiya at the theater.
As soon as they mentioned it, I started itching, and so did my friends.
But, I did not bring any of them home, thankfully, but I also sat the edge of the seat throughout!
