half of madhes is Pahadiyas. Hamro purkhale ragat bagaaera jiteko land ho. Madhes is not another fu(king Bhutan or Assam. Another Ganges of blood will spill there, and Madheshis will suffer the most. They most learn not to provoke pahadiyas. So far, pahadiyas have shown patience. But this will only run so far. I think some of the top madhesi MPs, businessmen, writers or head of organizations like Nepal Oil Nigam (Vishwanath Goyal), Nepal Electricity Authority(Some Jha) etc should be killed. Newstudent bro, Nepalese people are not capable of doing anything that you said. Hell these are the same people who did nothing when 110,000 of them got kicked out of Bhutan, when more than 40 to 50,000 (probably higher figure) got kicked out of India, and more than enough from Thailand and Burma. History has shown that Nepalese people have never been capable of defending themselves nor ever will be. If pahades are called by teraibasis to leave terai, why shouldn't newars, in a similar fashion, ask all bahuns n chettris to leave kathmandu? after all we first settled this place and it is the land of our anchestors, the same arguement that madhesis are using, they have too exploited newars and are the source of all the troubles. So i say, all the newars, come on rise and throw all bahun chettris out of the valley, rape the bahun chettris mothers and sisters, burn down their houses, n let them run away to their mountains where they belong, withe their tails between their legs, like the chakkas trhat they are, eating their yucky dhidos and plowing their barren fiellds, with no culture of their own to speak of. give them an inch and they will take a mile, so that's why they should always be kept under our feet. Actually i admit it is a bit of our elder generations mistake, they should never have let those bahuns rise, kept those bahuns downtrodden, under our shoes. Tharus are the mainland Terai people. Then all other Indian origin madhesi friends should leave terai at let the Tharus rule them. After the eradication of Malaria and clearfelling of Charkoshe Jhadi, Mostindians cme and settled in the terai area. That time Nepal's population growth was around 1.27 or so but due to that in migration from India it reached at that time upto 4.6 per annum.

The best shot for winning the terai , in my opinion, is on a platform of rapprochement. Some of the Madesi politicians have started toning down their rhetoric of late - perhaps in realization of this.

From the past to present Nepal has never embrace the different ethnic groups in the political system. Only one culture has been dominated over all the ethnic group.Now we are paying the heavy price for that. There is still time for those called political leaders and citizens.They need to respect each other's culture and need to think what is best for the country for the long term. Nepal is already a small country. Division doesn't solve the problem. All the representatives of the different ethnic groups should come to the table and solve this problem as peacefully as they can.We don't need bloodshed. whether it is Madeshi's, Bahun's, Tamang's, Newar's, Rai's or Limbu's blood, it is Nepali's blood first. We are living in 21 centurary, we can solve this problem. It is not so hard as people think of.

Hey, I don’t support any forums or such groups, but I agree that they have certainly raised some deep issues regarding equal opportunity and identity. Calling people from terai Indians, bhaiya, dhoti, madshya is just a mere example. Look what happened during ‘The Hritick Rosan Kanda’- beating of all terai people just because they look like Indians in kathmandu and other major cities which later backfired and couple of people were dead needlessly. So people, give a space and think about it, is it wrong to raise the voice for rights? Why madhesis joined such forum and other groups – simple answer, that’s the only way their voices reached to the political leaders and the media..
