I think police did a good job given the limited resources. Any one interested to set up a fund, to fund "anti-nepal baand" party with a mission to promote anti Nepal baand activities (peaceful demonstrations against the shut down which has caused people to suffer) during Nepal Baandh (similar like the recent one).

When I heard about the news it sent me back to my past as a taxi driver. My only hope is the driver'd not commit suicide in this situation and betray his young kids and wife. All I can do is send a couple of 10 dollars, but thought that might go a long way for the cabbie. Giving any one money is not the first thing I do, but in this case the cabbie was serving someone in need despite the fact that he knew he was taking risks.
I do not know how to setup a fund in the US, any help?

Though he has family to support, this guy when working as a cab driver must have been ripping customers by not willing to go anywhere on meter (80% of case in kathmandu). I have sympathy for him but surely will not be donating for this cause.
