     I have all these bunch of tapes where i need to download from my SONY Handycam Camcoders them to PC and burn a CD out of it SO that i can still use those used tapes .

You need 1394(FireWire) port in your computer and 1394 wire to connect your handycam to computer. Once you have those connected, you should be able to use windows moviemaker (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx) . If your computer can't detect handycam, you must download and install driver from <http://esupport.sony.com/perl/select-system.pl> to continue.
