Can't believe you guys are still fighting on this thing. I mean let it go. I don't know who is right here but newars and not newars both are wrong. Yeh all the Newari festival brings Money to lots a shop is Nepal for sure. As you all know Newari festival compromises of buying lot of stuff for food, the Money is changing hands for sure. Saying that, at the same time the Country is going through hardship. Money is scarce for the government and we are in deep shit hole of National Debt. It’s not that Newars are going to stop celebrating their festival coz of this. The Solution is not initiating  bandh. Why are we so stupid to do bandh everyday, it does not hurt anybody else but ourselves. The more bandh means more money Nepal looses, the stuff u r doing bandh for which could be considered doable once, now becomes impossible coz there is no funds

Almirah, you said just one thing wrong. Everything else is correct. Bahun nabhaye des chaldaina.... that's wrong. You should say "Bahun nabhaye puja path chaldaina Tara Desh ramro sanga chalchha". Bahun suppose to engage only in Puja path, not in politics. In Krishna Lila epic, it says that if brahmans become lobhi and engaged in politics, a destruction will arise. You cannot find a better example than the current situation in Nepal.
