Job Title: Recruiter
Location: Chantilly, VA (5 days/week, in-office)
Overview:
This position is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing candidates in both IT and non-IT roles across various industries. The US Recruiter will be the main point of contact for hiring managers and candidates, ensuring the recruitment process is seamless and efficient. The role requires an in-depth understanding of various visa statuses, immigration processes, and the ability to source and manage candidates for different types of employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for both IT and non-IT roles.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and suitability for open positions.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensure alignment in candidate selection.
• Provide guidance on visa statuses and immigration processes to ensure candidates meet the eligibility requirements to work in the US.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience by keeping applicants informed throughout the recruitment process.
• Negotiate job offers and ensure proper documentation is completed for new hires.
• Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in recruiting.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand staffing needs and forecast future hiring requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies related to recruitment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a recruiter, with a focus on both IT and non-IT positions.
• Strong understanding of US visa types (H-1B, L-1, TN, OPT, etc.) and immigration processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and efficiently.
• Knowledge of recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, ATS, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of local and federal employment laws.
• Experience working in an office environment with a 5-day/week, in-office schedule.
