Well I am visiting Nepal in Jan, and I wanted to know how I would be able to buy air tickets for domestic flights like from kathmandu to Nepal. Do they let you buy air ticket right before the schedule. Does any one know how much weight they would let us carry in the plane.
Thank you to all goood ppl of sajha for their help

There are tons of travel agencies in Kathmandu. You can shop around and buy the domestic air ticket from them. Last time I was there, Buddha Air was the most punctual airline with largest fleet. So look for an agency that is their representative.

Kathamndu to Pokhara roughly around 2700 on gorkha and 2900 on Buddha, oneway, 15 KG allowence, anymnore than that 500 RS under the table, I have travelled with almost 100 KG recently between three of us. But sad thing is that non nepali (foreign) citizen pay in dollars which is alomst 85 USD, oneway, what a rip off, I can go to Amsterdam and back on that money from London. No wonder not a single tourist use domestic flight in nepal except for Lukla. For Pokhara and Chitwan I advise you to use Greenline Coach, they are very comfortable, overhead A/C, lunch included for 800RS, it is really nice comfortable and nice view to and from Ktm..

I wanted to know If i could buy the ticket from here or can I just buy the ticket on the same day. I am from chitwan, and don't want to stop in ktm. I wanted to fly directly to chitwan after I land on Tribhuvan airport.
