I need to evaluate TU bachelors degree here in United States. But the evaluation services (WES.org) is asking for official transcript send directly by TU to USA. Does any one has any experience with evaluating TU degree in USA?

Does TU send official transcript to USA on request?

You ask to verify your trascript at Jamal.Jamal verifies your trascript looking your orginal one.(verify officially means. jamal's one of the officer sign in your photocopies) and you have to send them to wes by mail with your curriculum if you going to do course by course evaluation.
In fact TU doesnot send directly to USA on request.

Try www.ece.org. It doesn't require original transcripts.

I didn't even certify mine, copies of transcripts and the curriculum is enough.

Yes Try ECE.ORG. I had a big fight with WES regarding this. FUCCKING WES does not refund the money even if they dont issue the evaluation. They ask for Nonsense document from NEPAL and this is very difficult for us. ALL Sajha USERS Never USE WES for your evaluation.

I SUBMITTED MY COPY OR ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPT FROM ALL ACADEMIC LEVEL.

Yeah WES worked perfect for people I know who've now gone on to complete their masters from Ivy Leagues and other Institutions of repute. Your's, Wolfie, must've been an isolated case...But, thanks for the heads up anyway.

Jhatare kancha if you are right give me the information about it when did you apply for it. what was your ref number and when did you receive the evaluation. I will sue WES for sure.

Why Do we need to evaluate a transcript? can anybody explain me please. I am also from TU and have not done that yet.

Some employers may ask for the US equivalent but rare. especially you need US equivalent when you apply for H1B with your undergrad if you dont have us degree. But if you are using a lawer you dont need that. they will do with their own consulting institution. This much is I know why that is needed.

Thanks everyone for suggestions. I have already send application to WES and till now my experience is not good with them. WES is asking me to send official transcript directly by TU. And I bet TU will ever post the document to USA. However, as suggested in this thread, I asked one of my friend to get certified copy of my transcript from TU. Lets see whether this will work or not. WES is very bad in correspondence as well. They never pick the phone or respond to email.

I will post my further experience with WES. But I don't want to waste $175 that they already charged me.
