I think because it feels safer to live in the same ethinic community. Do you guys/gurls see any of the frontline faces marching the procession against the gentleman (i will use the term as I am not sure what his mistake were) in these pictures to be serious about the problem of curruptions, lawlessness and anarchy (which currently Nepal is in). I see these individual as a gang of confused people led by a terriorist (Maoist will be terriorist in my opinion till they give up their weapons completely and start behaving like a political party)and supported by a bunch of jokers (cops in Nepal are nothing more than jokers currently) who do not have any better things to do and are trying to have some entertainment in the street at a cost of a simple guy happen to be at a wrong place and a wrong time. But, being a Nepali and understanding the current situation of Nepal, these pictures do no looks funny to me. It is sad to imagine the horrifying future of Nepal we are heading towards currently.
