As the topic came up, I wanted to post some of my queries about one of my websites too.

I designed and own the website

The domain name's is due to expire on Oct 25, 2006. I, being a high school student here in Nepal, don't have that muchj of money for throwing around on websites just for fun. The website is in itself not a good earner, 2 adsense cheques of 100$ hae been sent in my name in around years, one of them I never received due to some mail delivery complications.

I was just wondering if the website is good enough to be up and running for another whole year. I registered the domain and hosting space with an Indian provider and they have been asking me to send a demand draft soon. So, dearest Sajhaiites, if u guys could please advise me on whether I should continue my endeavours or not, I would be highly grateful.

anyway running such projects is a good thing but you have to go also on promotion

The site has around 50 vistiors a day, on average. The highest I have seen is 111 in a single day. But retaining them is an issue. There are hard few returning visits, if not any at all.

Running a website entirely depends upon the target mass . Well, since SAJHA targets it all , it rules . I posted my website on some other thread, reluctantly . but , a platform like this can indeed help boost the website traffic.

about google adsense , its a good idea of sending money way back home. CLICK on google ads , google pays a nepalese :) , on a very optimistic concern . Though , i had a bad luck with google ads once on my personal website.

The website i launched few days back is http://www.guffgaff.com .. , though the name sounds appealing to be a general website, it is targeted to tech enthusiasts , and who would like to post INSANITY + TECH GUFFS. i want suggestions on the website. And the scary fact is that , i have stood up a self-sustainable forum , with modules attached for some interaction , so i cant abide by the specific suggestions made on the website :) .. thats to be frank .

anyways , have a look at it , and do comment . I will appreciate that .
