A couple of months ago,I had applied for permanent residence in Canada at united states Buffalo center under skilled worker class. Now,I moved to another state other than that I had mentioned in my application file. When I looked in the respective E- site,I didnot see about how to notify the change of address. Now I am wondering, can I notify change of my address from the net or should I fax a letter to Buffalo Center?I would highly appreciate if any sajhabasi could reply me.... virgin before landing canada, promise!

Why don't you call the canadian consulate office in Buffalo and find out youself. I bet you can find the number if you search the net.

well, you can't get whatever you want and whenever you want!! Have some patience. Try calling eary eary morning or in the evening or around the lunch time. I guess the call traffic would be lesser than what will be during the day. ~peace~

In the meantime you try calling the CIC call center, you can fax and mail the new address to the office (you can do both to ensure that they receive it). After sometime, you might confirm that they received your notification by checking your mailing address in their application tracking e-service. If you decision is coming soon, you might also want to notify the local post office about the change in the address by filing the moving form (they might charge you a nominal fee) so that any mail coming to your previous address with your name on it, will be forwarded to your current address.

If you know where you are heading then request for a address change in USPS. Your mail will be forwarded to the provided address.
