I am thinking about using one of these professional resume writers to write my resume but I don't know how effective it is? Have any of you used these services or pay these companies to write your resume? Appreciate your thought...

No, I have not used it. If you are willing shed the dough, I'ld do that for half the price :p. Mind you, I would do as good, if not better. Apart from few helping hands for others, I have done at least 25-50 versions of my resume ;), verified by top notched people in the professional field.

I can very well add their feed back too. So lemme know, what are you offering. the professional might very well take $100-200. Haina ra? Hehe.

These people charge you outageous amount; anywhere from $150 to $300. I think their service is worth the money if you have 15/ 20 years of experience, going for a mid career or higher level jobs, where you want to portray yourself in a certain way. For a starter, with the helps you can get at your college as well as job websites, you can make a decent resume yourself.

If it is a fashion show you are targetting, provide me your vital stats I'll do it for free. How nice it will be will depend upon the quality of stats you have! The more curves you have the more curves the resume will have.

Indisguise, i will hire you when i am done with college, coz the last time i try to put my resume up it was 8 pages long, i was able to look at my friends resume who made his from a professional, but still then its was 5 page long.

People making your resume please tailor your resume looking at the job specification, coz every company has different specification, specially for us people in the technical field
