Hi all
I know many people have prolly asked this question on sajha before but I still ask you guys. Anyone knows if iPhone 4 works in Nepal? If I unlock it and send it to Nepal then will it work there or not?? Also anyone knows if there are any places in Kathmandu where they unlock phones sent from abroad to make it usable in Kathmandu? Fathers day is coming soon I think so an iphone4 would be a nice gift for my father. Please respond people.

It depends on what version the iphone 4 is. if it's the first iphone 4 that were release on August and September 2010 with version 4.0.1, yes it is easily unlockable.. but the versions are that are still not ulockable as far as i know.. but there is this turbo sim that can help you use pretty much every iphone 4, so i would say it work in Nepal..
