I am just dying waiting for this new album Death Magnetic. I am crossing my fingers that it will not be like St. Anger. While browsing through the clips at missionmetallica.com, it seems as if MetallicA are back, and with a bang.
For anyone like me for whom the September 12 is just too far away, Metallica played a new song 'Cyanide' at Ozzfest on the 9th of this month. Here is the full song. Moreover we should be hearing the track "The Day That Never Comes" soon in the radios acrross the country. They have even already shot a video for it.

Although the quality is not so good, we should get the vibe how the new album is going to be. I am already thinking of Masters of Puppet. Have your say.

ohhhhh yea! Thank god they are finally touring in North America. Last time I saw them was like four years ago in the Summer Sanitarium tour. Just have to decide, where I wanna go to see them. Driving long distance just to see them is fun.

The only band that come to my mind when it comes to metal is METALLICA but having said that i didnt find their new song so promising. i went to see the ozzfeast and this heard this song 'cynide' . it just sounded like back in the days. kinda like "seek and destroy'........RUNNING ON  OUR WAY HIDING........jasto K. I really hope they get all the attention like in the past but i fear that this generation of fans  are used to hearing more extreme and different approach of metal these days. But i still cross my finger  and hope they come up with  killer  songs as i have always  been a metallica fan.

the past few albums sucked ass...they havent released a good one since the 80s...dave mustaine's megadeth is so much better, im glad he left shitallica

I do listen to Megadeth and have respect for Dave and all but it doesn't mean that I have to hate MetallicA and call them shitallica. Both of the bands contribute to the metal world in their own ways, dont you think so?

The day has finally come. Here is the song "The day that never comes". It starts slow but ends with a great metal taste. Metallica are finally back. Just cant wait for the 12th of September.

Not many Metallica fans, I am guessing. They are back but something still lacks. Nevertheless it worth buying a CD. Anybody has the leaked song links to GNR - Chinese Democracy. I think it has been pulled down. AC/DC is also coming out with a new album. Quite a treat for heavy metal headbangers. Hope they live up to their name.

Though I am not great fan of Metallica but they have few numbers which is in my best song list. 80's is still the best. Rock and Metal are far more better than crapy hip hop.
