I am in USA in f2 visa.I want to change my status to h1b visa and work.

Is it legal to change my status ? If so what are the procedures. I have work experience from Nepal in IT field. Please friends let me know what are the chances.

It is legal. The process is to find a job in a company that is willing to sponser u for h1. Lets say you found a company that will file h1 for u in coming April 1, if your h1 gets approved, then u can start working for that company from October of this year. Good luck.
