Dang - dang dang .... I can't believe this wotsover... I better shut the hell up and not boil the blood of ignorance. You can never win being any caste, People should think outside the box and smell the freshness of AIR. It all started with conflict and will always be even after the Adam and Eve started walking this heavenly earth. We live in a hell where we call earth, this is our punishment from God to see how well we all can survive living together but he knows it will never happen until everyone don't think like one, I am going to Mars anyone wanna follow. Go NWO

Bornfree, I don't think the topic was about what a particular race has done for Nepal and Nepali. It was only about and mind you only about "why Brahmins hold these powerful positions while others get nothing in the country" and the answer that got right through your head and made you go sulking was my simple response to that... And why wouldn't I talk too much, when all people are doing is blaming Brahmins/chettris for other people's failure? *shrugs* Neither am I generalizing nor stereotyping here bro bornfree. Bad and good people exist in every society and in every department, so all i was trying to say was, "We can't go on blaming a particular sect of people for every wrong thing that happens and neither can we ask for something that we don't deserve." The thread started with an intention to bring down bahun/chettris solely because they hold major positions and majority of posts in Nepal and my respond to it was "WHY NOT?" Since you admitted yourself that Rai/Limbus and many other groups go to other countries for better job and better lives for their children, tell me who else(as a major force) is left in the country? Of course, these very bahuns/chettris who according to you are not trustworthy and can't work in any other place... So, if they don't get works in lok sewa and administration, tell me who would? And since you brought the example of airport officers, let me tell you this- If there were rai/limbus in place of those people at the airport, they would have done the same thing. and if some other rich chettri was there in your place, they would have 'drooled' for his money too. You are talking as if it is in the blood of bahun/chettri to be greedy and that all of bahuns/chettris in Nepal are dying to loot you and your fellow lahures, weird eh!!!

Bornfree wrote, "You Bahuns & Kshetryias are down corrupt and dishonest people." Hare hare, kasari bhanna sakeko? look, ma bahun khalak ma janmiyeko hun tara my grandfather and father never served any goverment post so did none in my bahun relatives. whatever they earned was hard earned money or property. Tara, I have seen few Newar and Gurung (not seens other castes doing so openly though there are thousands) asking for bribe openly. Shall I call these two castes corrupt and dishonest even knowing that there are thousand of honest Nepalis in these two castes? Why don't you guys simply stop talking on such silly matter? wake up guys, get united.

BornfreeJi and rest of all... I and lots of my cousins were also compelled to pay money or more precisely to bribe officers to get driver's license, to make passport, to get our certificates attested from the authorized personnel and to get police report But the IRONY is that i and all of my cousins are also Brahmins...How you could fit us into your scheme..... As you have mentioned earlier Brahmins and Kshetryias are directly or indirectly prohibited to join into British and Indian Gorkha regiments because of the fact that they are proven dishonest and corrupt...does that mean Every kid who takes birth in Brahmin/Kshetryias is by default a dishonest and corrupt and everyone who is from Rai, Limbu, Magar, Gurung, Sherpa, Tamang (I hate to mention us as Aryans and Mongolians…..to me it sounds a bit like foreigners) is honest and uncorrupt.... If this is the case then certainly Brits and Indians are doing injustice to non Rai, Limbu, Magar, Gurung, Sherpa, Tamang casts and looks like they are offending them …. OR Honesty-dishonesty, corrupt-uncorrupt are the traits that are acquired by an individual over time which are specific to him or her and there is nothing to do with his/her family of origin. It is our attitudes, behaviors and deeds that make us honest/dishonest and corrupt/uncorrupt than our affiliation to a particular cast. But if this is the case and also larger participation and better performance by legendry Gorkhas primarily from Rai, Limbu, Magar, Gurung, Sherpa, Tamang casts than from other casts led Brits to preferentially select them into Gorkha regiments, then this is fine at least to me. Which is also equivalent to larger participation and better performance by Brahmins and Kshetryias in Government based jobs through Lok Sheva or any other selection processes and should not be a matter of injustice to Brahmins and Kshetryias. So my bottom-line is: Someone who is corrupt/dishonest is corrupt/dishonest. They don't have any other identity other than corrupts and dishonests. S/he could be from Brahmin/Kshetryias or from Rai, Limbu, Tamang, Sherpa, Magar and Gurung or Yadav, Jha, Chaudhari, Damai, Kami and Sarki..... Corruption is not due to a cast, color, race and gender. It is not something that happens only in Nepal. It is very rampant for example in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Korea, China, African countries and even in US, Japan and other Western countries....I don't think they have casts like ours. But they still have this problem... Corruption and dishonesty does not inherit from the family lineage rather from the individual’s greed for money and power as well as bad governances. So making generalized statements attributing corruption to particular cast, color, religion, and race and gendered is not acceptable by any standards. Teti ho….

Bornfree, you elsewhere mentioned that your have spent only 9 months in your life in Nepal and you can not even speak Nepali well. How come you speak up in such a manner without having a bit idea on it? Or, you are generalizing thing based on what you saw some handful of cases in India or in USA or wherever? Remember that if you accepted some bribes, then it is you who is corrupt. or it might be just your circle sorrounding you who are corrupt, not your father. Forget about your caste. So, my point is that even if 99% of the Bhramin and Chhetrys are corrupt, you should not say that the caste "Bramin" and "Chetry" are corrupt. Buddi bhayeka harule bibek gumaye bhane yestai hunchha, ke garne!

This is true and whole nepali people knows that what Bhaun and Chettri have been doing in nepal,so you guys can't hide anymore. Bornfree... you are absolutely right...i agree with you what you have mentioned early but, whoever are on the top position in nepal, they really corrupt, so you only can't mention that only the Bhaun and Chettri do that. i am really ashamed to be pandit because of those people's behavior. past is past, whatever happened .. they should not behave anymore like u are bhaun, chettri , gurung, magar, tamag, damai, sarki. HAMI EK HAU, RA HAMI NEPALI HAU. thank you

Aba ahile k yesto kura lyairakheko... you should also study another parameter - the percentage of income Bahun/Kshetris spend on educating their children.. guys, i have seen people selling their lands and houses, and not to mention jewelleries to educate their children.... these people, they give high values to education. satru ko chhoro/chhori bhaye pani, educated haru ko izzat ra taarif garchhan. that's what is needed from all the ethnic groups of nepal if you want to change the above figures some of you have put. i have a couple of talented frens who could have now become renouned doctors or engineers or civil servants had they continued in education field. in stead, their parents forced them to go to army.... and that's the main reason your parameters show those figures... desh aandolan ma chha,... let's forget these minor differences....

Mokshya....ur one sided stereotype mopic views r disgusting n a reflection of ur kind 2 defend d acrimonies of d comtemporary releaties infecting the youths of d country. Ur views r generalised n as such holds no significance 2wards ur claims...on d contrary it makes 4 a rather biased reading. Everyword u have written betrays...wateva u suggest 2 claim...As the saying goes it takes 2 hands 2 clap...so d plight of d indegenious natives of nepal n d loathsome bahuns r equally accountable in this social resentment which becomes apparent each day. It is not that bahuns r dark……n mongoloids all pure…everyone is different n there’s black sheeps in every race .n...every community… However it is also true that indegenious natives, predominantly the mogoloids of Nepal have faced oppression, exploitation and most cruelly deceit frm bahuns.... U cn go on defending the cirmes of ur ancestors....by remaining ignorant 2 the facts..This won't change anything but incite more resentment 2wards ur kind....d time will come when everthing adds up n evens out.....so instead of repenting n acknowledgeing d harms n social ills ur ancestors have comitted....we..mogoloids will rise 2 reclaim wat we deserve...time n tide doesn't stay still...each day.....is d end of ur oppressive domainace... Wat a crap u boast........easy money becoming lahures....anyways...u wldn;t noe wld u ??? I dun see any point highlighting d difficult ways lahures have 2put up wif ...n earn their living.....it's sweat n blood.....nothing less......bottom line.....it's a decent income..which u apparently aren’t aware of n wldn’t noe ….thus it’s futile 2 explain 2 ya… U r d ones who don't become lahures becoz u jolly well noe u r incapable of a honest job....n r aware of easy money in d country by taking up jobs in civil sector n other govermental postions...got ur corrupted mind cleared now ??? d majority of u bahuns....in goverment service n other areas of bureaucracy......r d apt ones cheating innocent citizens n siphoning off thier money by the way of corruption...... If that is wat education had thaught u smart ones....than i can't comprehend.....wat u plp haven't learnt......very smart indeed ... N d thing abt mogoloids participation in d protest....u kididn urselves ???....it is u bahuns who r once again inciting innocent plp.....n exploiting them for ur causes...bahuns r d pest who r leaders in d political organisation...duh.....Look where ur educated personalities have brought the country. 2..... Claims abt ur superior intellectual ability...nice one.....keep on remaining adamant abt ur smartness.....it is beocz of ur forefathers oppression...depriving us of education..n our cultural rights dat...we mogoloids lag behind ur plp rite now....but how long can u keep ur dominance......do u really think we r less capable than u ??? Juz take a look into neighbouring Sikkim, Bhutan n North-East India.......so stop defending ur selves......n admit 2 d facts......whilst defending other aspects of ur forefathers legacy.......u wldn't wanna continue in their path...Ur continued ignorance n reluctance 2 repent n accept…will continue 2 unwind d few remnants of d social fabric of this fragile nation that d Shahs had loosely binded.

Patriot, if my views are stereotypic, yours are no different either. In your entire posts, all you have done is blame bahuns for everything that happens to you and your clan... And here you say, I was generalising duhhhhhhh...If I did that in my posts, then did you try and put a different and most unbiased opinion in yours? I don't like talking to hypocrites like you who have a formulated mindset that "whatever we say is right and if someone opens their mouth against what we believe, then they are solely doing it because they are unfair and unjust". Unjust my foot! I wouldn't praise you where you don't deserve and neither will I go on bragging for some terrible things that some bahuns/chettris have done. Listen dude, I am not here to discuss what a difficult life lahures live abroad. Probably, you are right. Probably, I wouldn't ever know( but to tell you the truth, I understand as well as appreciate it), and the thing is you would never know the bahun/chettri side of story either. Just like it's not right for me to go on asking for hong-kong and Brunai citizenship because some mongoloids have done a lot for the countries, most of the mongloids who have not done anything in and for Nepal cannot come to Nepal and ask for their bhag. If mongolians deserved all that foreign currency and their citizenship, bahuns/chettris also deserved all those jobs and high government posts in Nepal. Now, if you wanna even talk about some free-riders then, let me tell yo this, there are exceptions everywhere, be it amongst 'we supposedly unfair bahuns/chettris' or your 'so-called great mongolian clans'. . One thing that you all have agreed to is that you guys don't consider nepal and nepali jobs as your main source of living. Nothing wrong with that, but if that's the case then, why do you have to hate those brahmins/chettris for working in places where most of you don't even want to? You talk about what Brahmins/chettris did to Mangoloids?? Tell me what they did patriot? I would like to know that too.... Besides, before blabbering anything that comes out of your gob, try and stick to the fact....Here is a portion of the fact that it seems you didn't know.... During Rana regime it was not just mangloids, even common brahmins/chettris had a hard time studying in Nepal... And you know what, most of them went to India for their studies. They sold their land, they sold their properties and educated themselves in India-mainly Banaras. Patriot Ji, your ancestors could have also done the same thing. Instead of holding lahure's puchar, they could have gone to places like that and educated themselves. Your ancestors didn't have that determination and gave money their first and only priority. Consequently, they remained uneducated. That's not my grandpa's fault who went to Banaras, educated himself, came back and joined nepali working force. And if you really wanna talk about unfair treatment, then let me tell you this, mangols are no different than brahmins in that matter. Wherever they see they are the majority, Mangoloids harrass and humiliate bahun/chettri like there is no tomorrow. You say you have seen bahuns do that and I say I have been through that everyday torture of your mongoloids. So keep your selfish interests aside and give people credit where its due....

I know i'm acting very stupid and immature, but really can't stand it when people throw words of humiliation to entire bahun/chettris just because they are educated and have managed to find a job for themselves in Nepal... Sorry for being so impulsive and arrogant and sorry to those who have been offended by my crude comments..... Shouldn't and wouldn't be posting here again....

u haven't failed 2 amused Mokshya...twisting ur views ....which isn't surprising comin outta you....dat's wat u plp r good at.....u go abt saying things like easy money n rather wantonly claimin ur intellectual capabilities n now u defend ur implusive judgements...hyprocrites ...ehh......:).....look who saying dat.....a pot calling a kettle black...know the ground realities..b4 ur give ur biased opinions..anyways it's futile 2 bring sense 2 ur likes.....so here it ends....!!! 4 all we know.......neither of us r in d right....but d truth nvr lies....n vindicates d realitiy......P/s.......how many lahures r there ???? Is it that big a population of the mogoloids population that the rest of the mogoloids "aren't able or neglect" frm joinin the civil opportunities in d country as u say in ur wrds ???? Common......wake up......As i said hard wrk of d bahuns eehhh....hahah....i have nvr generalised by views....if u failed2 realise......i had said there r black sheeps in every community.....i' willing admit 2 d facts....unlike u.....who continue 2 hold ur biased n baseless views..!!!......I had higlight d corrupt practice of d majority of bahuns in civil jobs....wif d "easy money" parody u taunted in ur views....wat a chump.....N wat have u 2 say 4 ur educated kind who pollution d country wif ills of society.......corruption n regression of d country..... u were sayin abt ur kind being more educated n holding civil posts in d country ....wat kinda of education have they received......4 all d corrupt practises they enjoy so much ??? N i have nvr said Bahuns dun or can't earn a decent living.....as u were implying abt d civil posts that u claim mogols reject frm joinin.......i had answered in d same breath....as in d type of wrk u had implied.... Common dun jump frm one view 2 defendin another,...how fickle one can get......making one claims.....n then....defending ur views without concrete acknowledgement of d other's views.....can't expect anything less frm a biased person anyways....tadaa....
