Hi guys...You all might have realized that Sajha forum has been serving all kinds of purpose of Nepalese Community when we want to share our sorrow, happiness, problems and lots of unsolved problems. Sometimes, you might have come across some odds threads which you do not intend to ...Success of this forum entirely depend on the participants and Sajha is lucky enough to have unpaid varieties of brains coming forward to help their community... There are some issues sometimes reagrding racism and hatred against some section of people and it is quite natural since you can not change everyone attitudes.Time and education change people. How great would it be if these virtual brains meet and greet each other personnally once in a year sometimes and share knowledge? Imagine :People in Sajha are really a great and these different brains and hearts gathering together in one place....Wow I would like to request few people come forward and organize Sajha gathering somewhere ....I love to attend... I request Mike dai ,Rahul dai or anybody interested to take intititaion for this gathering..(anybody coming forward to organize it is highly appreacited )..

Pupiffy, sure I'm up for lunch or something. How about a casual buffet gathering at Kathmandu Spice? I'm thinking of going there this Sunday December 10th. Whoever would like to come just join us there for some Nepali food. I was there 2 Sundays back and they had real good food. Khasi ko masu was yummy. Alright see you there whoever can make it.

Raidilip, do you mind if I ask you a question? I have talked to few people in Malaysia and in Singapore and they used to write the way you do and I find that funny and interesting! But I don't have a clue what they mean. What does "lor" mean? Do you mean "me" by saying "mah"? Please explain! :)

Slackdemic so you have friends from Malaysia and dat stupid Singapore ha. wow good liao. you can learnt more from them mah. you ask me question no problem lah. any Qs anytime i sure to reply mah if i know. actually hor this language is called Singlish mah or Singaporean style english. Malayasian also used it because Singapore and Malaysia is like hushband and wife. those who lived in Singapore/Malaysia surely used this kind of language hor. easily distingush also if you travel far and wide. for example hor if you know singlish you can easily track down singaporean/malaysian if you hear them talk talk and scully you can join in their talk by saying aiyoooooooooo. btw way hor "lor" is just a slang word added after almost every sentenance mah. also words like "hor" "mah" "wah laio" "scully" are also used. lor, hor, mah, wah liao, aiyoo.........etc are all chinese words scully, salamat, datang, kawans........etc are malay words as you know Dat Malaysia and Singapore is a multi/national countries. Both countries have Chinese, Malays, Tamils (South Indians) and Euoropeans living together peacefully and harmoniously. also ask me more Qs if you have. but don't play play hor. xia xia

Hehehe. Thanks, RaiDilip. :) I just like the way those words are used. I thought they were slang, too, but didn't know if they have any meaning! So, basically they don't have any specific meaning, but just slangs you put after a sentence lor? :P :D
