Welcome to new live coverage of the cricket match! I will be updating the score at each five overs from TU Group using GPRS of MeroMobile. Sometime, there will be problem and updates will be a little late, bear with that.

Day 1 of the match against Nepal and Singapore was dominated by Nepalese batsman and bowler. Second centuary in 3-day format of the game by Paresh Lohani helped Nepal reach 313 for 9 in 83.3 overs before end of first inning was declared.

Singapore, after wining a toss, decided to field first to utilise the early mositure in the green wicket. Nepal made nervous start by lossing first wicket for 9 runs on the board. Then it was for Paresh and Sarad to steady the ship but Sarad could not last long. Nepalese wicket kept on trembling until Mehaboob Alam joined Parash, together making a stand of 118 runs for 5th wicket. Alam was out for 74 runs before he smashed bowler apart. On the otherhand, Paresh was slowly and steadily sailing the ship to safety before was out at personal score of 103.

A quick gem of an inning by Parash Khadka (69 runs) was fasinating to watch. He was hitting the balls from the start of his innings.

In reply to Nepal score of 313/9 decl., G. Mayer of Singapore made fine start. He has hitting the ball very nicely before Binod Das bowled him. This was the opening Nepal wanted to dig a hole in opponent line up. Singapore was 47 for 4 in 19 overs before day was called off half an hour due to bad light.

WHY NEPAL LOST TO UAE IN THE PREVIOUS GAME ??

Mehboob Alam denied visa
By NepalCricket.com

Nepal’s most successful all-rounder Mehboob Alam was denied visa by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) leaving Nepali senior cricket team without him for the three-day match against them at Sharjah. The ACC Premier League match starts on Nov 4. Although Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has corresponded for the reason with the embassy and Asian Cricket Council (ACC), they are yet to receive answer.

Result: UAE DEFEATED NEPAL BY 97 RUNS
