My bad impression with Newar of Kathmandu valley is that these stupid Newar think only the valley is Nepal and all the other people outside valley are Pakhe and they do not know how pakhe are themselves.

Technically kathmandu is nepal right now if not literally and everyone from all over nepal is moving in......its important to develop ur community before you even think of developing the country......so go back to where you came from and start developing ur own community instead of intruding the valley, messing it up and then using scornful remarks on the people thats been friendly to you than the ppl from ur own community. God save Kathmandu! no offense i'm just motivating ya'll to develop ur community......

I am bahun and I have some chhetri relatives.

I have noticed that bahuns and chhetris are more jealous and worst than Newars.

Yeah, it only appears bahuns look worst people that's becuase at this period of history most of the corrupt people/leaders in Nepal happen to be bahuns.. otherwise good people are always GOOD, wether there arebahun , newar, matawalas, etc.

It is very very disgusting to see such caste hatred, religion hatred in lovely sajha board like this. As I have already written about it, I am compelled to write again for this mess is going very precarious; I am afraid about the stability of Nepal, its people, its society.

Why do we hate each other? Yes, in the past and also now in some places of City too, some conservatives esp from high caste, Bahuns, chhetri deter to eat or drink from the hands of so-called untouchables. Even newars do the same to other minorities newars like–Kasahi, Chyame, Pode, Sarki. Dhobi look down upon Kasahi (butcher class) etc. And Dalits too do the same to other dalits. So they are like the branches of a tree. From top to bottom, the tree is mentally sectarian. Who is to blame for all this? Our mind. Just broaden your minds in this 21st century. I am myself a Bahun. But I love all people–Newar, Chhetri,Tamang, Gurung, Dalit. Even if some guys here abhor me, abuse me with filthy words, I still love him or her because we are all human beings with same red blood, unseen, pure soul.

Do you guys don’t eat or sit together with other caste people in college, restaurant, bars.? I hope you do. You never mind speaking or going along with other caste people irrespective of inferior, superior caste. Because you lovely educated people are from 21st century. Do not take view of life, society, people from your grandfather and mothers’ mentality. Let bygones be bygones and forge ahead. We are the people of this nation to go ahead with broad heart and great smile with hands in hands. There are many topics, subjects, concern in the society that needs to tackle rather than such weird, hatred instigating topic of Caste, and religion.

Today is Buddha Jayanti–so lets follow the path set out by Buddha. Everyone needs ego in life. But what we need is its purification. Let’s exhibit tolerance and endurance, forgives and forgets but not our weakness by answering a pebble with a cannon. Let’s have religious tolerance. Let us live like Free birds of the sky that do not interfere with other’s business, domain.



Let’s make this country one of the most developed countries of the world in the future. Lets talk about it in Sajha.
