It's a complicated situation to be in, even more so when family is involved. I recently went through something similar to this with one of my best friends but like i said when family is involved emotions tend to overflow. Telling the truth is the best way to go in these situations... they might be in love unconditionally now but will they be after you tell them the truth. I am pretty sure she's going through the same feeling that you are about if she should tell your brother what the fact of the matter is. She is scared just like you are, so talk to her about it and come clean. It is a lot easier to forget and forgive if you guys tell him now rather then if he finds out what the fact of the matter is down the line.
