Little things matter in life. Who knows when life ends --- therefore, we live day by day, trying to make each day happier than before. I am not telling we don't fight. There are so many days in the last nine years when we have fought and argued. However, the day ends with a smile on our face and the issue never carries over to another day. I am good at few things and she is good at others. [Economics? That helps marriage as an institution where specialization and division of labor benefits both parties].

One other thing we have to consider is who will be the childhood role model for your children. It is really hard to be own children's role model - because you can't pretend anything anytime. It's worth a try. You won't have to look at the neighbor next door for an example of happy family.

Thank you for sharing your secret to successful marriage. I wish you ten more nine years of happy marriage with less fight ;-). You remind me of the story पाराल को आगो I read while back.
As long as there is respect for one another love prevails, when respect cease to exist so does love. It does seem to be related, somehow.
