Prachanda asks king not to instruct parties
Maoist Chairman Prachanda has asked King Gyanendra to stop advising parties on democracy. He said the King's interview to a foreign paper was an attempt to make a comeback into the national politics once again.
Speaking to reporters after meeting Norwegian prime minister at Hotel Dwarika's in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon, Prachanda said it was not appropriate time for the King to instruct political parties on principles of democracy.
"It signals his effort for possible comeback into politics," he said adding that foreign powers might have backed him to give such statement.
He informed that the issue will be raised and discussed during the seven party meeting scheduled for Sunday.
Further, he said the issue of police raid on YCL office on Wednesday has been discussed with home minister, peace and reconstruction minister and other Nepali Congress leaders. Accordingly, government has withdrawn the police from the office of Maoist-affiliated Samana Culture Group in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur, he said.
In another context, Prachanda claimed his party will lead the government after the constituent assembly election in April. nepalnews.com ia Feb 08 08

Prachanda is so openly giving his senseless speeches without any weight nor value only becausehe's having India's protective hands on his cruel-brained head. He flurished and has been ableto come where he stands only because India is behind him. The moment India takes off its hands off Prachanda's head, he is more likely going to be a soul less man.

Dude,
Now its his time,so he is talking watever he wants. That may be true and may not be.Wat ever u guys say, he has support from India or he is trying to be dictator like in former USSR,N.Korea......he will not turn his way.One thing I wanna comment about the ongoing discussion in Sajha, these guys(Maoist) were against the king and will be.So,I don't think that statement he made was any surprise. These kinds of comments have been coming and will continue until we got the results from constitutional assembly.
Another thing I wanna comment, I don't know wat u guys will call me ,a pro-maoist or pro-communist or pro-dictatorship but I don't really care.I will jot down some of the perspective. One thing we all need to understand is that if there was no any involvement of Maoist in Nepali political main stream, I will bet we would have never seen the change.King Gyanendra wouldn't have withdrawn his move. The movement which reached its destination was a huge success with Maoist involvement. At that time I was in Nepal and I went to bunch of rallies and protest mass.I never saw a single leader participating, even we didn't know about the where abouts of most political leaders.Don't be in dark that thousands of people in Pokhara,Chitwan,Biratnagar,Birgunj,Palpa,Janakpur or in other parts of Nepal came out because they love the political parties. If u think it to be a reality, thats bullshit. They were expecting sth from Maoist.
I would rather see him as a leader of Nepal than Girija,MAKUNE and other ass holes.

Gazadi, you're smoking too much of that weed again, damn pothead?? You want this guy to be the next leader of Nepal?? What are you damn moron. This fugger was singlehandedly responsible for the regression that has been prevalent for the last 10 years...Ain't no ifs and buts about it. What about the destruction of public infrastructure (whcih solidly hit the lil buget we as a nation had), the closure of educational establishments (depriving kids and college students alike of their fair share of developmental and field knowledge), the rampant kidnappings, the 13K+ killed and the 10s of thousands unaccounted for? What about the looting of banks, the destruction of civil structure, both economic and social in the rural areas (infact all areas outside Ktm), hundreds of thousands of villagers displaced, thousands of kids recruited for an ideology that is nothing but a damn "ideology" only and also what about the Maoists making their cadres stay at the houses in Ktm without the owner's consent (the consent was there but using threat and other similar measures)? And today, the YCL gundas everywhere extorting and calling themselves as self proclaimed parallel police force...WTF?? And yeah, you think we'd fall for the trap of the communist's ideologies? Grow up fugger! This theory works only in papaer and nowhere in real life has it ever worked (tell me China and you'd get whipped so hard by the man Samsara himself...China is a paper communist. Those damn fools are communists in face and name with a burgeoning capitalistic economy fueling their hunger for more wealth)/
Anyone but Prachanday should be our motive! You said you saw no development until the Maos joined the mainstream parties? Ask why? Coz these fuggers were the ones hindering it at every step. If there had been no Maoists, Nepal would've been a much different nation. Much more prosperous than it has been for the past 10 years!!

no_quiero,samsara Its true that lot of people were killed during the insurgency but all were not killed by Maoist alone.More than half is killed by govt. The change u r seeing today in Nepal was possible after that.If u look the history of any country in the world, these kinds of things happen.I am not endorsing the fact that the killing of innocent people is good but that was an event during the process. You can flash back to the revolution of 1990.Many people were killed during the protest and sth was changed in the country as per the leaders. I don't know what u guys think and how u take the achievement of 1990.Many innocent people were killed at that time and many sacrified their life leaving their wife widow, children with a dark future and look what those leaders did with the authority. They built the future of their near and dear ones and grabbed all the money.Take for an instance the condition of NOC and other public offices.I am fed up with these so called democratic parties. You might be related to some of those ass holes and don't try to accept the truth.I have seen the disparity they have created. You know what I would rather accept King Gyanendra as a supremo of Nepal than these corrupted, wicked leaders. Samsara, "If there had been no Maoists, Nepal would've been a much different nation", how come dude? One thing about u, how long have u been in US dude?I am discussing my thoughts in Sajha,so better dare to mind ur language...moron, fuggers, these are not the words for me.Jot down what u think, u also show the same character as those fool leaders , man.Try to convince others with ur reason.

how can anyone possibly justity the killings of more than 13,000 people to bring a change in the country????? i know the killings were not alone done by the maoists but prachanda is responsible for all these. if he had problems and wanted to make, prove, or justify his points, he could have taken the path of nonviolence and i bet, if he had done so, he would have been successful a long time back. what really has he done besides killing ordinary police and soldiers who were just doing their duties and who were not and never would have been responsible in anyway to change anything in the country; destroying many homes and families; creating terror, violence, and cruelity; and salvaging lives of illiterate and ignorant people as his maoists cadres.
justice should be done on him because he is a muderer and a cruel culprit.

HappyFace, U pointed out a good reason dude.We all know they did all those things which should have never happened and now they are claiming their victories. It was an insurgency and the two parties did so wicked things that even they never care about the basic human rights. How did maoist came to this point and why they lift the weapons? It's an easy answer. They broke from a small party, janamorcha in 2051 and the election was about to come. There was no way to even win a single electorate zone because they were even a fraction of a small party which got just 11 seats on the election of 2048.So,they endorsed the way to boycott the election and lift arms.No body ever dare to care that small fraction until they made significant attacks. If u remember those days how the leaders of N.C used to make comments.Deuba once told he can grab Maoist from the nook and cranny of every caves and forest of Dolpa,Rukum,Rolpa. These leaders just added oil on the flame. They never even thought about the consequences and what might its impact be.So, maoist used the poor, dalit people as a tool. Its over now and I know the result never justifies the means but we don't have any other options right now.I have seen lot of guys discussing about Prachanda,Baburam....but no one has really said a word about who might be the effective leader of Nepal next. Why r Baburam and Prachandra discussed so much?It makes us think again.Girija is not a good leader but he is the only legend in nepali politics who can get support from international arena. So,guys while discussing scribble sth , if u don't wanna c Prachanda or Baburam as a supremo, who might u think can run effectively? Lets make a wise discussion and learn sth from others.I regularly write on sajha and u know wat,I don't people making comments. They never appreciate other reasons.Every body has their own perspective and judgements, so we r different from each other. If we all have the same preferences and choice, think wat would happen?

If the Leaders or the King really wanted to end terrorism they would have done that long time ago. Every M**F**R were playing their political game for their interest. You know how much money, armies, ministers, and the govt officials made in the mane of fighting terrorism. You can't imagine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prachanda should take resposibility of all the dead people no matter who killed them. No war can be justified.

every single political leader is an asshole....all care for nothing but money and power...our country's devt was not hindered by maoists as much as by the blatant corruption. 10-12 barsa aagadi maoists saano hunda devt work rural areas ma laana sakeko bhaya govt le, maoists would never have been able to manipulate the poor and deprived people in those areas. the insurgency wuld never have grown so grave.

chanda hits at ‘foreign forces’ for conspiring against election
Maoist chairman Prachanda has accused that ‘foreign forces’ were hatching conspiracies to derail the Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
Addressing a programme of Butwal Jaycees on Friday night in Butwal, Prachanda said reactionaries were plotting to turn Nepal into ‘Pakistan or Bangladesh’ – referring to the military-backed regimes in the two South Asian countries.
Prachanda claimed that since Maoists were going to win the election, foreign forces were working overtime to sabotage the polls. He said that the election faced threat more from forces from outside the country than from forces within the country.
The Gorkhapatra daily adds that Prachanda also made claims that on Friday morning itself, ‘power centers from India, United States and Britain held a meeting in Kathmandu and were trying to spoil the election environment by mobilising army.’
The Maoist chief threatened that his party will make every kind of sacrifice to defeat such conspiracies. nepalnews.com sd Feb 09 08

If we ever had a visionary leaders, if all the leaders would have thought beyond their Personal gain and benefits....we would have been better nation long back. Now Nepal is just a playground for foreign powers, somebody said it earlier....Nepal is like a whore, never owned by anybody but Used by everybody(foreign powers)!!! But its not surprising that, what we have achieved today its all what Maoist wanted long back, 1.Constitutional election(whether it happens or not its a mystery in itself), Guys can you believe we were running on Rana era constitution, which I would like to call Bakshish deko Democracy!! 2.Proportional Election. 3.Republic(only in papers) as Gajadi has mentioned, Maoist submitted the 48 or 47 points proposal to government before they picked up the arms, and except for 2, all the points were mentioned in constitution, but what we lacked was a visionary leader and who can act!! I feel at this juncture, instead of brick backing at one another, we have to realize where is our country heading, and think!! unless and until all the war criminals, all the corrupt leaders and the same old system prevails not thing is going to change....if we want a new Nepal, then we should have a revolution from grass root level...... 1.Punish the corrupt politician, who are mere puppet of foreign agents. 2. Try to stand take our own bold decision, not what US says or what China may think..or India will get angry. 3.Let Civil society come forward. and bottom line is be FAIR CA election, CA election can change the track of our country!! about killing: HUMANS KILLS HUMAN JUST TO PROVE THAT KILLING IS BAD. about struggle: HUDAINA BIHAN MIRMIRE MA TARA JHARE RA NAGAYEA BANDAINA DESH TWI CHAR SAPUT MARERA NAGAYEA!! WHENEVER THERE IS STRUGGLE THERE IS SACRIFICE.

Gazadi, too much weed in your brain got you hallucinating son!! You bring the revolution of 1990 and compare it with the Maoists?? WTF? Its like you're bringing about a discussion of the Saints when I talk about Adolf Hitler and his other anti-christ likes. Listen foolio, in 1990, a mere 14 people died in the revolution...In the Maoists revolution 13,000+ were killed and 10,000+ are unaccounted for. How on earth can both phenomenons be compared?? And were there lootings, kidnappings, bank robbings, destruction of public infrastructure, extortions, etc. back in 1990? Damn, where does your reasoning even stem outta? Go back to smoking more of that stuff rather than come up here wanting to be some damn wisecrack!
Also, you ask me why I say, "If there had been no Maoists, Nepal would've been a much different nation"? Did you even read my post before blabbering such an ignorant statement? Damn, the answer was right in the post! Use that brains for comprehending sometimes, would ya? could ya? or should ya? I've put the reasons down again (cut and paste). Just read it this time!! BTW, Just the fact that you support Prachanday and his commies, it shows how much of a real-world comprehending ability you possess! Saddam, Stalin, Hitler, Napoleon and the Ayotollahs were all great charasmatic leaders...But also the most evil! As far as I see Prachanday is just another wannabe Stalin and its about time his wings got clipped!!
Do chhakas from NC and CPM ML have any comments??? And why did Prachanda made such (above) comments?
NC urges Maoists to stop hindering the polls
Kantipur Report
KATHMANDU, Feb 9 - The differences among Nepali Congress and CPN-Maoist seem unlikely to resolve anytime sooner with Maoist’s fraternity organisations assaulting the counterpart’s members.
With its leaders condemning the former rebels time and again, Congress issued a statement Saturday urging them not to cause hindrance in the campaign for making the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections a success.
Congress has also requested the Maoists to stop its unruly activities and assist in creating favourable atmosphere to the elections.
Condemning the Maoist cadres repeated attacks on its leaders and activists, Congress claimed that the party’s behaviour of late has raised doubt over its commitment towards the CA polls.
Only yesterday Maoist cadres had disrupted Congress general assembly at Purchauni Hat of Baitadi and attacked Congress lawmaker Narendra Bahadur Bom, former lawmaker Krishna Kumar Joshi including other leaders and activists.
The press release also notes that the Maoists have got threatened by the electoral campaign launched by Congress.
Likewise, European Union and Congress affiliated liaison offices based in America and Germany issued a joint press release today urging the Maoists to improve its behaviour immediately.
--- so its a conspiracy -- hahahahah.
AND This is all from Oli:
KATHMANDU, Feb 9 - CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli Saturday urged the government for the immediate shut down of the camps of Maoists youth front Young Communist League (YCL) nationwide.
He added that political organisations taking control of private and government properties and running camps is wrong.
Former Deputy Prime Minister Oli informed that UML will march stoutly against the people-opposed activities of Maoists.
Addressing a programme organised by UML Bhaktapur district committee today, Oli challenged Maoist Chairman Prachanda to compete in the April elections peacefully.
Secretary of UML Valley Coordination Committee Yogesh Bhattararai criticised the former rebels for mobilising youths setting up camps in different places.
----talk talk - no work just like post 1990.

Samsara, Forget abut me,man.Let my brain be spoiled or hallucinated by weeds, none of ur business.I love the way I am.The revolution maoist carried out was not a child play.It was a peroid of insurgency and they have lifted weapons. So,its not a surprise to know the killings of people.Again,I wanna make clear I am not neglecting the killings of people and trying to justify that. Why the heck r u always mentioning that maoist killed 13+ k people?Government killed more than maoist did. You talk about the lootings of bank. What about the money looted by N.C ministers including Girija? Why don't u talk about that.Yeah, its true maoist looted bank, vandalised public properties but they had a purpose and all they did was to achieve their goal. But those ass holes of N.C looted for themselves.Maoist looted banks but Prachanda, baburam didn't use that money for their personal purposes. They used to run the party and look, where are they now?
Samsara, wake up!!maoist got everthing they wanted. They got almost everything they fought for.Whose agenda was to abolish monarchy, constitutional assembly?Girija still is not happy. He doesnot want to uproot the monarchy. He was the prime minister who took coins from the Gyanendra even though he knew Birendra was killed by Gyanendra.Who are you talking about Samsara?A person who kills his own family just for a mere position or a person who appoints his children minister even though they got nothing, who trades the natural resources of own country with foreign countries, makes money in every kind of so called developmental things, loves chair more than his life.Sorry dude, I am not ready to accept these leeches a leader.Maoist at least did sth.Its not a fun to be underground and fight for more than 10 yrs. These so called leaders even couldnot spend 2 yrs if they are not in government.
Who haven't done violence, tell me?N.C or U.M.L or sb else.Do u remember how they torched the vehicles and vandalised govt. vehicles running on the streets.I agree there is a huge difference in the violence between those parties and Maoist.U know why?Becoz those parties wanted to change the govt. but maoist were determined to change the whole system in country. If u r sensible enough, think how much work u need to put on to change whole country in compared to change a leadership in Singha durbar.Actually, these democratic parties never did anything for people.what they did was to get back in government.
So, now the scenario is different and YES WE CAN CHANGE,YES WE CAN CHANGE,YES WE CAN CHANGE Nepal. And the changing force is Maoist.Take my words, if maoist fail to do sth this time there will be a rejuvenation of another armed force(might be a fraction of those or sb else).
Time is dynamic and it has been changed.Change urself and come forward.Abandon the thoughts u used to have and come up with a new one coz its time for a change and maoist can do it nobody else.

Why do you always talk about Armed Force? If the Maoists fail (obviously they will), are you talking about another group going on the hiding and be the cause of the loss of another 13k+ people???
