Can anyone give me an idea about how we can develop our country like Japan,Korea or Singapore? What these countries were few decades ago is known to everyone. Most of the ideas shown by the Politicians and Economists till date is camouflage in a way or the other. There must be one truth and only one truth that is fit perfectly in Nepelese context as Politically and Geographically. Should we wait another few decades then sombody comes forward with a vision that fit to Nepalese ground?

Development is a cultural thing. It is, above all, about changing the mindset of the masses. It can be done only by letting them know that there is a better way of life and that with proper efforts it can be achieved. It can be achieved by building roads and thus exposing them to further areas that they had never seen. It can be done by providing top quality education and thus letting them know of the possibilities. It can be done by a charismatic visionary leader who can relay the possibilites to the masses. It can happen through tv, media. Once the mindset changes, once the masses realize that they can live in a much much better life than their present living, most of them go for it and then things take a turn for better.

there is only one word...."Attitude" and NOT ONLY aptitude which determines the altitude. same applies for the development of nepal. if we can acquire good attitude, nepal's development is NOT a distant dream. let's change our attitude to something positive, hard working and ethical....success will follow... You can do... Help to build Nepal infrastructures Roads, Bridges, Transportation, Communication, Drinking water, Electricity, Health post or clinics, Schools and market places. We do not care, Road can be rough road but bus and trucks can drivable. We do not care, Bridge can be ugly, but bus and truck can be passing thru. We do not care Bus, Taxi, Tempo or Trucks but at least some transportation medium. We do not care Telephone, Fax, Post office, Telegram but at least one medium to communicate in remote villages. We do not care high cleaning water or not, but at least drinkable water in remote villages. We do not care whether high voltage or low power, but at least electricity to remote villages. We do not care big or small, but at least one health post in each village. We do not care colleges, high school or elementary school, but some education systems in remote villages. You can create self projects. Collect donation from Nepalese who live in overseas and go to village and do it. Prove that you can do it. JF Kennedy said that “Do expect what your country does for you, but think that what you can do for your country...â€

If we talk about the development of our country,we should follow an idea based on reality; the sudden changes we have seen in last few months is beyond the expectation of the leaders and so there is no question of having their capacity to lead the country to the destination we may call progress and prosperity. Everything that grows naturally will be strong and will be stable ; the evolution of a plant from a seed is an example. Sudden changes in present political scenerio is weird. No body knows where, when, what and how to start a well beginning. Where should Attempts be made to foster political, economic or social progress, nobody knows. The same faces who have done so much in late 90's are in political scene and what will be the outcome is crystal clear. Is Nepal demanding an Atom bomb like Japan or Political leader like Lee kuan yew or Economic boom by non resident Koreans since late sixtys?

RISKY ROAD TO LEARNING: Eight year old Janaki Kumari Pandey of Paduka village in Bajura district tries to concentrate on her books in the porch of her house. Every day she walks two hours to school and has to traverse the dreaded Rangay cliffs on the way. Four people from her village alone have already fallen from the cliffs to their death. Many parents have stopped sending their children to school because of the killer cliffs. Others start worrying if the kids do not return home on time.
