yes in democracy you can speak. but even in democracy there are restriction. you cant speak anything you want. I remember a month earlier a woman calling in a radio program made a racist remark on the international students and immediately within ten minutes she was apprehened by police.

but it should be understood that sajha is a common platform for commoners like us, it's not an online newspaper or an online radio or a TV for that matter. people (nepalese) from all caste, creed and all the nooks and corners of the world with different education level can come and voice their opinions--the very purpose of the inception of Sajha. thanks to San and his crew for that

my personal views tend to resonate with your opinion regarding the anger management that members need to restrain themselves with. but again, not all have same set of mentality, education, views, cognizance and cogency skill, hence the variety--some sound satiating while others might sound offensive.

although i have not read all of kakababa's threads and postings, i don't agree that one should resort to banning a member--it's just not the right solution. worst case, one might warn them to restrain themselves from name calling and stirring up anger. in an online forum like this, you should be ready to read obnoxious and offensive comments too. the best solution is to ignore.
