घटना विवरण

सेनाद्वारा ०६२ मंसिर २९ गते राती ११३० बजे भक्तपुरको नगरकोटस्थित श्री कालीदेवी
मन्दिर लागे को मेलामा गएका नगरकोटका १२ जना सर्वसाधारण नागरिक र एक जना
सैनिक जवानको विभत्स हत्या गरिएको छ । शाही सेनाको नगरकोटस्थित शिक्षालयमा
कार्यरत सैनिक जवान बासुदेव थापाले मंसिरे पूणिर्माको मेला मनाउन सो दिन राती भेला
भएका स्थानीय सर्वसाधारणमाथि अन्धधुन्ध गोली प्रहार गर्दा नगरकोटका १२ जना स्थानीय
जनसाधारण मारिएका हुन् । गोली हान्ने बासुदेव थापालाई पनि टाउको र छातीमा गोली
प्रहार गरी हत्या गरिएको छ । मारिने र घाइते भएकाहरु अधिकांश दलित र जनजाति
समुदायका रहेका छन् ।

सेनाबाट हत्या गरिएकाहरु सबै नगरकोट गाविस वडा नं ६ र ७ का बासिन्दा रहेका छन् ।
हत्या गरिएकाहरुमा ४० वर्षका भगवान तामाङ, ४० वर्षका आइते तामाङ, ४० वर्षका
रामलाल नगरको टी, २० वर्षका माया तामाङ, ३० वर्षका सुजन श्रेष्ठ, २५ वर्षका रामप्रसाद पन्थ, २० वर्षका काले तामाङ, २० वर्षका नानु नगरकोटी, २५ वर्षका निरु तामाङ, ५ वर्षका बालक दीपक तामाङ, ११ वर्षका अर्का बालक धमाइ लामा, उमेर नखुलेका दीपक तामाङ रहेका छन् । यसरी १२ जना स्थानीयबासीको हत्या गर्ने नगरकोटस्थित शाही सेनाको
शिक्षालयमा कार्यरत सिपाही २७ वर्षका बासुदेव थापा समेत मारिएका छन् । पोष्टमार्टम
प्रतिवेदन अनुसार मारिएका र्सवसाधारण र सैनिक जवानको टाउको र छातीमा गोली लागेको
देखिएको छ ।

सेनाको गोलीबाट घाइते हुने १९ जनामा नगरकोटका निरज तामाङ, भीमबहादुर तामाङ,
कालु तामाङ, सपना लामा, प्रविण शाह, रामकुमार नगरकोटी, कृष्णबहादुर तामाङ, जगत
तामाङ, राम पहारी, रामभक्त नगरकोटी, पूर्ण तामाङ, सुकलाल नगरकोटी र गोपाल पहारी
रहेका छन् । बाँकी छ जना नामा र थप बिबरण प्राप्त भएको छैन । सैनिक जनसर्म्पर्क
निर्देशनालयका अनुसार, घाइते भएका १९ मध्ये १६ जनाको सैनिक अस्पताल छाउनीमा
उपचार भइरहेको छ भने तीन जना घाइते शिक्षण अस्पताल महाराजगञ्जमा सामान्य
उपचारपछि घर फर्केका छन् ।

सबैलाई सेनाले सोही दिन राती ४ बजे अघि नै भक्तपुर अस्पताल र सै निक अस्पताल
छाउनीमा पुर्याएको थियो । मृतकका लास र घाइतेहरु बोक्ने काममा सेनाले मारिएकाहरुका
परिवार र स्थानीय वासिन्दालाई लगाएको देखिएको छ । घटनास्थल वरपर रगतका टाटै टाटा,
रुखमा गोली लागेका चोटहरु प्रशस्तै देखिएको छ । तर, सेनाले रगत अत्याधिक देखिएका
स्थानहरुमा माटो र झुसले पुर्ने प्रयास गरेको पनि देखिएको छ ।

Is Nepal safe from its Royal Prince and its own Royal Army?

Misuse of arms and drugs should be controlled from Royal palace to Royal Army.
This kind of incidents are repeating.
There is a big question mark about disappearances of a french woman and a german woman in Nagarjun Jungle.
In this jungle the murder cannot be anybody else than the army itself.
They live there. This incident in Nagarkot proves that this theory is very possible through army.

There should be RNA and DNA test from all armymen they are on duty there in Nagarjun jungle and be compared with DNA from french or the german woman´s cloth with blood stain tht was found in the Nagarjun jungle.

We have army to protect us, not to kill us .

Those two are important points to ask
one more should be
Why DRUNK army was given a gun????
Don't army/police in Nepal have any rules and regulations against carrying arms while under influence???

All of those army guys who were on duty that night should be hang on the tree. IT is very unhuman and barbaric. Those people went to the mandir to get blessings from the god-godess and what they got a very bad death.

DUDE, the locals who were present at the time of shootout testified that it was in fact, the army guy who shot everybody. So, what the f*&k is your point, bro?

I am not denying the fact that the soldier killed the villagers. What I am trying to say is that there is more to this story than meets the eye.
And as far as my family being in the army that is none of your f**king business…

Where is the country headed to?....a crown prince who wiped out practially the entire royal family in a night of drunken shooting, another who takes it upon himself to the dada of Nepal and go around bashing police and now drunken army men wanting to make poor, inncocent locals target practice?

The RNA has long history of human rights abuses..Maina Sunwar was just the tip of the iceberg...with respect to this there are many questions that come up:

What the hell was this dude doing with a government issued weapon when he was drunk?

He supposedly made trouble in the morning and came back at night and conducted the massacre? Doesn't the army have folks at the gates of the barrack with enough sense to NOT let a drunk army guy go into town armed to the hilt with an automatic weapon?

There is no info yet on whether there was just the one drunk guy or more army people..if there were more...obviously this is NO mistake...why was the drunk guy shot in the head?...this seems to be a pattern...even Dipendra was supposeldy shot but it was billed as "suicide"...

KG as commander of the armed forces and Pyar Jung Thapa need to be held to the wall to get answers on this.

when some protesters threw stones at the road where Paras's car was coming(where no one got hurt), IGP's got suspended, Indra Neupane(not my relative) who got the blame got suspended including others who took actions...
Now, lets see how many Colonels and Generals take the blame for this grave mistake by army personnel...
Yes superior leaders are to be blame and need to take blame...

It's about time the people understood who was behind this. The King and Army Chief Pyar Jung Thapa are directly responsible for this episode. This is clearly a "Nanglo thataera hati tarsaune" trick.
