Hi guys, I went to community college and got an associates degree..got an OPT.Finished my bachelors and went through OPT and currently have h1b..no kaam...Tara nursing major seems to be a hot cake nowadays..any healthcare sector seems to be recession proof area..but going back to 2 year college again for nursing degree..will I get an OPT again??? Thanks,

No you won't.
For same level of study, independant of what field u r taking, they won't provide OPT twice. You will get OPT only when you study 1 level above of the previous degree.

The statement from "ark" is not completely true. This doesn't imply that I am an expert here too.
I had the same level of information like - Only one OPT at the same level of study.
But I know 2 people who did their bachleors twice in two different fields and got the OPT both time.
They graduated as Chemical Eng and later got the Bachleors in Med Tech.
So............there is a work for you to do my frd.

But, I did go to my community college and asked them of my intention to pursue a nursing degree and they said....I wont get an OPT..Only with the masters since I already have bachelors..So, please anybody has had such situation or is it possible to get an OPT again going to a community College again...for Nursing..
