Any specific comparison you are trying to make? The part about them not being able to agree to a constitution for such a long time is certainly something to be concerned about although given how everyone came together in the end for CA elections in Nepal, there is room of realistic hope I think in our case.
That said, it will take a while for things to get better in Nepal. Once the results are out, there will likely be a lot of wrangling and arm-twisting when it comes to forming the new government. Formally abolishing the Monarchy could get a bit sticky too especially if Mr Koirala comes up with his "Minor King" proposal again. Agreeing to what kind of federal structure should be adopted might be the biggest hurdle in passing the new constitution.
At the end of it all, this is just an election to write a constitution and if all goes as planned we should be having another election in 2 years to elect a government. I think we should brace ourselves for plenty of political instability for the next 2-3 years till the general elections are held.
Just my thoughts.
