Hello Everyone. I just graduated in December 07 and got a job. I started working recently. My company is not helping me financially but only with paper work. But now my lawyer is telling me that the company has to pay the amount listed in filing fee to USCIS, he is saying i can only pay attorney fee. How true is this? Any suggestion friends. Will really appreciate. Thanks.

You can pay to the company and ask them to provide the filing fees on Company's check.
OR
You can pay to the lawyer and lawyer can pay to USCIS by his check.

i was in the same situation. Since its a lottery , I gave them a check on hold and if i get selected then they can cash it in. So they just cut me a check of the uscis filing fee.
hope this helps.
