OK Guys, hope you all have enjoyed the NBA Playoffs. I think this is the first time in my whole life that I was rooting against the Spurs, just so that this damn playoffs would be more interesting. Anyway, now that it is officially over, I just wanted to share some thoughts... Lebron is amazing, but he has some ways to go, I think he will eventually get there... for hells sake, he s only 22... The Spurs? What can I say, they are amazing. Now, no more threads I hope... Also, what was up with that non-call on the last shot of the game... I guess if that idiot Jakim Noah looking fool Varejao did not attempt that ugly lay up, things would be different. Either way, it was great defense, and sadly this is the end of the NBA season...

I feel you sajayog. My sports appetite is also out of control. I sometimes feel like the biggest loser in the world because I watch so much sports. If you think about it, its just as bad as watching soaps. A complete waste of time. Not having cable really helped me control the watching sports on TV. Now, the hardest task is to stop going to si.com and espn.com to see when they will write the next article... Well, we ll talk more about tomorrow's series clinching game. I dont think the Cavs will allow the spurs to sweep them, I think maybe a game or two MAX.

I think the Mavs are overrated. They are not built to win championships, they are built to win regular season games and to beat the Spurs... their over obsession to finally beat the Spurs got to them last year and this year too..

Mavs lost becoz they played Golden State..it was a suprise when they actually lost ..but now if yu look back it is no suprise at all ..mavs did not lose to a terrible eight seeded team ..in fact they lost to a team that they had trouble dealing with the last two seasons including five straight losses going into the 1st match of the playoffs..statistically speaking MAVS lost 20% of the matches that they lost this regular season to Warriors.. so i dont think think mavs are a weak team or OVERRATED(as put by Sleepyspur), every team has a hole and GS exploited it ..thats it ENUFF talking abt MAVS, why are we talking abt them wen today miht as well be the last NBA game for 4-5 months GIBSON and JAMES need to fire today, it was quite suprising to see SPURS win the last game with hardly contribution in the offensive syde frm Ginobli, neither did the SPURS play that well, i feel the CAVS to win today have to play miles better than they did the last game and yu know SPURS are not the kinda team that plays too bad playoff games on the trot

SORRY THE LAST PARA IS GRAMATICALLY NONSENSICAL Gibson and James need to fire 2da from all cylinders, it was quite a suprise to see spurs win the last game witout any contribution frm ginobli on the offensive syde, neither did the Spurs play good overall, it was just that the cavs did not play well and take advantage of the moment nywy for the cavs to win 2da they have to play miles better than what they displayed on tuesday to keep the series running and you know SPURS ARE NOT THE KINDA team that will play two bad playoff games on the trot

Last game was awesome. It was defensive battle. CAVS were close and they are better team than what they have shown so far in this series. They are great in their home court. It would be great game tonite. Lots of people are not giving giving enuf credits to CAVS. CAVS took down the heavily favorite Pistons winning 4 games a row. They can still do the same in this series. CAVS has the player who is close to Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson combined. He can score 80% of the team points if needed. He is the new breed of player in NBA and appropriately labeld KING. He transcends the game to nex level...He is Muhamd Ali of the NBA. If it was SUNS and CAVS the ratings would have outrageous.... Tony Soprano and the gang may had to reschedule the sreies before or after the game..... You needa have flashy players Like Kobe and rating monster Shaq to call a team DYNASTY... Spurs are boring team lead by non US players and David Stern helped them to win the series vs SUNS. Let's talk about the draft: ODEN or DURANT???

Keep wishing AX. David Stern did not give the Spurs the series vs the Suns. Amare and Diaow along with Nash's flop gave the series away. About Oden and Durant... amazing thing is Durant's wing span is as long as Oden's. These two are scary. The other day I was watching DVD's of Ewing and Olajuwon, and they were no where close to being as good as Oden when they were freshmen. Hopefully, Oden can continue improving by leaps.

It was close. After watching first few minutes of game, I switched the channel to MSNBC and CNN. Then switch channel back to ABC for the final 77 secs to go.... King James will have many more NBA final games to come. He got to taste what NBA Final is, with better supporting casts, CAVS will be favorite to win next year. The series should have been tied now. Refree blew the calling game 3. I agree sleepyspur, Oden is a very good player. he is better than Olajuwan, Ewing, Shaq and Webber. ODEN is that kinda player who is going to save the sinking NBA. He will draw thousand more fans to the arena whereever he goes to..... Durant is about the same level as Oden. I hear the same rave about the Mike Conley Jr. and High octane player from 2 time national champion Florida Gators.

I dont know about your high octane player from Florida. If you are talking about Noah, you have to be kidding me. I think Noah is just a more talented Varejao, nothing more. Al horford is a poor man's Emeka Okafor. The only guy I think is amazing is Brewer. He has the athleticism as well as the defense and all around game that none of his teammates have. Furthermore, I dont think that Gregg Oden is going to have the type of impact that you are talking about. First of all, he will be playing in a small market... Portland. Secondly, his game is not flashy. It will be "boring" for your average flashy plays seeking NBA fan. But it will be amazing for more knowledgeable fans. I have not seen Durant play all that much, but from what I hear, he will be better than carmelo and has the potential to be one of the best small forwards to ever play. Lets see, hype is hype, you never know until they play in the NBA.

Sahayog, what you are saying absolutely makes no sense whatsoever. Dallas is a good team without a go-to player... and yes, Nowitzi is not a go-to player as we all witnessed in last year's finals as well as this year's first round. I mean, with Duncan having his plantar fascitis, the spurs were one stupid Ginobili foul from beating Dallas last year. Imagine the type of beating Dallas would have received had they not choked this year. Anyway, FORTUNATELY for Dallas, they avoided being embarrassed by San Antonio.

It makes every sense Sleepyspur, I know it is not the tyme to say 'would have' but i will still say Mavericks would have won the championship had they not faced GS in the 1st round ..they just got a mismatch and the only thing Duncan can do wen he plays against Mavericks in laugh at the referee's decision and adorning himself with technicals
