Many other viable options still remain: Estes Park, CO is one joint Nepali's still frequent.

For a change, try Cape Cod (or Martha's Vineyard), MA or Bar Harbor, ME this summer. These are toursit areas where jobs are plentiful during the summer months. Not much Neps there and you can work double shifts with ease in these places. Make sure you get your CPT from your Intl advisor before the summer (or get a blank SS card). Good Luck!! yes INS officers are in OC and they are hiring people to look out for illegal workers, why don't you all apply and see if you can get the job

I dont' think INS will do anything to the Student Worker in Oceancity. They know this fact from many Years, infact they also know Nepalese Students work in OC. I got caught 4 Years ago in Oceancity. Actually few of us got caught at the same time. Well they asked me few questions, i was pretty straight forward to them. I told them the Truth..I said i m a student but i just don't have enough money to pay for my tution, i wanna graduate from US college,that's why i m working couple hours to pay my tution. The INS guy was pretty cool and he told me abt the Immigration Rules that we r not allowed to work, another guy seem to be aggressive, he took my information, my college ID and everything But later the other guy told him not to take any action against me and i was all set. I was scared for a while when the guy took my all information..I told em i m not gonna work from now and then i was all set..They do raid Every Year in OC but only in very few places just to show that they've been raiding..But i don't know what their action will be this year cuz many articles have been published in the Newspaper last year abt F1 students...My story was long time ago,so it might be different this year.
